Skirlaugh dog walking field offers a 4 acre secure area to allow your dogs to explore without you having to worry. The field can be booked for sole use or with family and friends.
Bookings are available in 30 minute or 1 hour slots

Field users do so at their own risk. No responsibility can be taken for any incidents within the field. Vehicles and contents are left at their owners risk.
Entering and leaving the field
- Please do not arrive any earlier than 5 minutes before your session start time
- Please make sure you have left the field and loaded your dogs before the

- Please make sure you have left the field and loaded your dogs before the start of the next session
- Please wait until the previous user has loaded their dogs into their car before getting your dogs out
- Please do not exercise your dog outside of the secure field area and keep your dog on the lead until you are within the secure field and the gates closed
- Please make sure the field gate is closed upon entering and leaving the field
Using the field
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times
- Please do not climb on the fencing, gates, shelter or any dog play equipment
- Please provide your own biodegradable poo bags and place them in the bins provided
- If you notice any poo that has not been picked up by another user, please mark with a cone
- All dogs using the field must be up to date with their vaccinations and flea and worming treatment
Cancellations
- Cancellations can be made up to 6 hours before your booking for which you will receive a full refund
- If cancelling within 6 hours of your boking we will not be able to refund you
- Refunds for no shows will not be given
- Extensions for late arrivals will not be permitted
- We reserve the right to close the field at any time and give a full refund
XL Bullies and exempt dogs
You must not enter the premises unless your dog complies with the following rules
-The dog is registered with the index of exempt dogs (IED)
-The dog must have its own public liability insurance
-The dog to handler ratio is 1:1 at all times
-The dog is neutered and micro chipped
-Please use the secure carpark, this will ensure extra safety for everyone
-The dog is muzzled and kept on a lead at all times within the carpark but the muzzle and lead may be removed once inside the secure field and the gate locked behind you
-The dog is put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to leave the field
-If you have more than 1 dog even if not exempt there must be another handler present to look after the other dog(s) ( only dogs from the same household may exercise in the field together if an exempt dog is present)

Follow the step by step booking system to book your date and time. The gate code will be sent via text 1 hour before arrival, so please ensure your mobile number is entered correctly when making your booking.
